Human Resources Coordinator

PRIMARY OBJECTIVE OF POSITION:
Provide administrative support of the day to day HR Department responsibilities and ongoing Emerson HR requirements.

MAJOR AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY:

  • Oracle entry and reporting.
  • Employee contact in regard to payroll related issues and concerns. Work directly with the HRIS/Payroll group to get these issues resolved in a timely manner.
  • Track and enter employee reviews into Oracle.
  • Assist with various HRIS projects. Attend project meetings and prepare action items.
  • Provide support for Payroll, Human Resource Managers, Human Resource Director, HR Generalist, Finance, and Accounting.
  • Coordinate with general accounting to ensure that employees general ledger, benefit and special deduction/payment coding is correct.
  • Completion of various forms including but not limited to: child support order claims, unemployment claims, and tax information forms.
  • Comply with deadlines for four payroll schedules for the U.S. and Canada.
  • Assist with the processing and reports for the annual IVS Service Awards.
  • Administers human resource policies and procedures and tracks various employee reimbursements.
  • Assists in the preparation of internal employee communications regarding compensation, benefits, or company policies.
  • Coordination of new hire packet distribution and data entry. Ensure all necessary paperwork is filled out completely.
  • Requisition and termination tracking and reporting
  • Prepare and maintain related benefits records and reports.
  • Manage various employee data elements such as but not limited to vacation balances and award payouts.
  • Completes monthly Headcount tracking and reporting for the Lifecycle Services organization for the U.S. and Canada.
  • Assist with the EEO/AA reports.
  • Maintain all U.S. active and terminated employee personnel folders and ensure all files are up-to-date.
  • Administering and coordinating documentation for employees on short term and long-term disability.
  • Assists with benefits administration including direct contact with BCBS, VSP, Vanguard, and The Hartford group.
  • Employee I-9 inventory.
  • Benefits administration and open enrollment support.
  • Collection and tracking of EMR requirements (COI, ethics, scholarship, etc)
  • Answer questions and provide support to the HR team, Lifecycle Services Management and employees on all HR administration topics.


Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
