NA PMO Manager

The NA PMO Manager has the overall responsibility and authority for the implementation and execution of Customer Projects for the Process related industries. This includes having a complete understanding of the project scope and requirements and having ownership for timely delivery, profitability and price uplift. The PMO Manager has responsibility for the team to ensure development of Project Plans and is responsible to the Customer, the Contractor, the Emerson Impact Partner and the company for overall success and execution of the project. They will have functional HR responsibility for the Project Managers and Project Administrators assigned to the Process Industry Group.
  • Ensure coordination and management of multiple KOB1 & 2 projects which are large, highly complex and multi-national.
  • Lead and Negotiate the project scope, change orders, progress payments, lead times, manufacturing specs, Terms & Conditions and all additions or expansions to the project with the Customer, Emerson Impact Partners and Global Industry Sales team members
  • Develop and own the Project Plan that includes schedules, milestones, procurement strategy, execution strategy, financial targets, resources, communications and considerations of risks
  • Effectively provide leadership for a comprehensive project team consisting of Project Administration, Order Administration, Engineering and plant project personnel who are responsible for executing portions of the project. Provide input for performance evaluations.
  • Interface and continuously communicate with the Customer, Contractor and Emerson Impact Partner throughout the life of the project to provide updates, milestones, and progress.
  • Serve as a higher-level authority to Project Managed Orders for Emerson Impact Partners, customers, and other internal stakeholders
  • Manage direct reports, provide day-to-day project and HR coaching, and actively engage in their development and offer leadership within the North America and Marshalltown Order Administration Team.
  • Encourage an atmosphere of teamwork, safety, creativity, trust and respect. Establish and maintain positive working relationships with stakeholders including customers, manufacturing, sales, finance, Emerson Impact Partners, and other functional areas to enhance organizational effectiveness.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
