Job Description

Lennox in Marshalltown, Iowa is now hiring Assemblers for second shift (3:30 pm. - 12 a.m.). Starting pay is $11.39/hr plus a $.42 shift differential with the opportunity to earn additional incentives per hour.

Individuals will work under direct supervision in the assembly of units or fabricated parts. Tasks are routine and repetitive.

Position responsibilities and duties may include but are not limited to the following:

  • Measuring and cutting insulation

  • Applying glue, wraps, and securing insulation

  • Utilizing various hand and power tools, or other specialized equipment to perform a variety of assembly tasks

  • Assemble small parts and calibrate precise measurements


  • Must be able to read, understand, and apply customer specifications

  • Must safely and effectively use a variety of tools, identify unit components, install insulation, and make labels per instructions

  • Must be able to repeatedly lift, move and carry up to 20 lbs

  • Must be able to regularly stand and walk for extended periods of time?

Preferred Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Previous assembly experience in a manufacturing environment

  • Previous basic training in manufacturing skills and concepts

  • Previous manufacturing equipment knowledge?


Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
