Summary:
The Perfect Execution
manager
provides strategic manufacturing execution guidance for Operations - Americas. This position will participate in the development of an ongoing manufacturing improvement strategy, develop project proposals to support Perfect Execution initiatives, investigate opportunities to develop quote to cash processes to enhance performance on critical success factors such as lead time, on time delivery, inventory turns and profitability.
Essential Job Functions:
Plans, develops, recommends, and coordinates the implementation of Perfect Execution initiatives for the manufacture of products to achieve company goals.
Conduct Kaizen / Problem Solving / Lean
events
for immediate impact to all phases of the Production cycle, including the information supplied.
Prepares feasibility studies and analysis of production systems to achieve company goals for order execution. Factors include labor, materials, facilities, equipment, manufacturing systems, and processes.
Must support day-to-day operations within Americas' operations and other tasks as assigned.
Regular travel to Americas' manufacturing locations is required, approximately 25%.
Represent Fisher for Emerson meeting and events on Perfect Execution.
Relationships will include Division Management, Plant Managers, manufacturing personnel at all levels, Supply Chain organization and Suppliers. Position will report to the VP Operations, Americas.
Job Requirements
Education / Experience Required:
Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Supply Chain, Finance, Economics or equivalent technical experience.
Minimum of 5 years experience in an operations improvement / Lean role.
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities:
Demonstrated ability to manage projects and teams.
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and equipment.
Demonstrated inter-personal communication. Must be able to present project plans to North American management team as well as lead Kaizen Events, Lean projects and Lean / Problem solving Training.
Ability to plan and execute a project on time and within budget.
